Dentures
How much do dentures cost? Since there are so many different types of dentures (including both partial and complete dentures), the only way to give an accurate cost is for you to come in for a free consultation. At the consultation, the Denturist will print out a treatment plan that will give you the actual cost for your treatment.
What type of material is used to make dentures? Our dentures are all made out of acrylic. If needing a partial denture, the frame of the denture is made out of a wironium metal base.
How long will it take for me to get my new denture? The process of making a denture takes four appointments. Here at the Denture Centre we normally schedule one appointment a week, therefore meaning a new denture will take a month from start to finish. If a patient needs the denture sooner, arrangements can be made with the Denturist.
How do I pay for my new dentures? At the Denture Centre, payments are made in two instalments (one at the start of treatment and one at the end). If this is not doable, the Denture Centre does offer monthly payment plans.
How often should my denture be replaced? A denture is recommended to be replaced every 5-7 years.
My dentures are loose, but I do not know what needs to be done, what can I do? At the Denture Centre, we have free consultations so give us a call and we will get you an appointment!
I believe I need to have my remaining teeth taken out, what is the first step? If you believe you need your teeth taken out and you do not have a regular dentist, your first step it to give us a call and make an appointment. At the appointment, the Denturist will refer you to a dentist or oral surgeon in Welland. We will coordinate our appointments with the dentist/oral surgeon to make sure that your dentures are done in time for your extractions.
If you have a dentist who is willing to take your remaining teeth out, make sure to still book an appointment with us. Since dentures take between three or four weeks to make, we need to make sure your extraction date is not until your dentures are done.
Will I ever have to pay for an adjustment? With every new denture made by the Denture Centre, we will never ask you to pay for an adjustment. Whether it be six months or three years after the denture was made, there will never be a charge.
